I dreamed last night that Cat #2, Ms Inky Blot, came and curled up in the crook of my elbow and she had brought a brand-new Buffy/Giles story for me to read and it was a lovely story and she was warm and furry and it was all awesome. And then I woke up a little more and indeed, Ms Blot was curled up on top of me, in the crook of my elbow, purring.

Yes yes, this! Cats recognize a kindred spirit in Spike. Especially pre-souled Spike. They look suspiciously at him post-soul. Not sure he kept his edge.
