I am going to use NaNoWriMo as a driver to finish a first draft of my novel-in-progress. It will perforce be a sloppy draft in need of much editing, as all stuff spewed out in November tends to be, but that's okay. First drafts are supposed to suck. This is why December will be National Novel Editing Month.
I promise not to whinge about it daily. I might witter a little about craft nonsense. I will not post wordcounts. I will avoid the nanowrimo community as if it were plagued, even though I am signed up officially and all that. End of Nanowrimo blather.
What else have I got for you today? Tumblr has been a goldmine of excellent ASH shots and Giles screencaps recently. I've been enjoying the heck out of it. Some are old favorites. Or consider this screencap, of one of my favorite moments between Buffy and Giles. He made her a training room! Seeing these images again is cheering.
I got the LJ backup tool working again. I was exceedingly grumpy about it, however.
