Always thought Giles was a prime example of someone who would have a nervous breakdown due to the stress he suffers - especially after season 7. But never found any fic written about it. Glad you are writing something along these lines. :-))

I think your icon might offer a good place to set it. Post Zeppo, maybe? Giles redeems himself for the fiasco that is the Cruciamentum. Buffy's never seen anything so heroic. He's all battered. Has just been fired. Dunno. Could work.

But I still like my post-Passion idea better. :P
