Not a ficpoll, but another sort of poll: kinky fanfiction and you, cuppa tea, cuppa tea, Giles got shagged again edition. ( Behind the cut of flist salvation... )
(But bonus points for the whiskey. Reminds me of my grandmother, in her eighties, when she would tip a 'teaspoonful' from her 'little bottle' into any cup of tea, at any time of day. She'd long since lost her sense of balance, so what the hell!).
You're the second person I know who swears by agave syrup. I'm on the no-to-sugar yes-to-fat eating scheme at the moment, but if I ever eat real sugar again I'll give the cactus a shot.
Generally speaking I take my tea black, black, black. Sometimes I put honey in when I'm sick, but in such cases I'm more likely to skip the tea entirely and make up a hot honey lemonade, with or without whiskey. Sometimes I'll put milk in the morning cuppa to make it more of a portable meal, but even that's rare.
If, however, the tea is being made by someone British (or Irish or Scottish - no opportunity to check Welsh) by tea-training, if not citizenship, I often need to put milk in it, and I enjoy it.
(In the alternative-lighteners department, unsweetened almond milk is very good.)
I like my tea strong enough that milk is required as a counter-balance. I'm also a coffee-creamer, though these days I make the World's Best Amazingly Smooth Coffee using an Aeropress gadget. (That web page pegs the geeky meter. Nevertheless, the coffee is good.)
Dammit, now would be a good time for tea, since it's sort of cold tonight and the cats won't let me shut the door onto the deck. They tyrannize me, my cats do.

Pah! Your ticky boxes are insufficient to encompass the rich variety of human experience to the full.

Tea: very strong loose-leaf black stuff with soymilk and Splenda. Hubby prefers the soymilk, I need to use the Splenda.
The best thing I can say about Blackmail is that I'm always thrilled to see a new chapter.
