You are better person (or more masochistic) than I am. I never got past the first episode. Even though I keep hearing it's getting better, I just can't seem to make myself watch.
The correct strategy for this show is to wait and let other people tell you if it's any good in the end or not. I am volunteering to be one of those "other people" who invest $2 a week on iTMS to see if it's any good.
Just watched it. Was immediately distracted by, "Hey! It's Helo!" and 10 seconds later, "Hey! It's that other guy from BSG!" I don't think I had seen BSG yet when I watched the first episode of Dollhouse. Helo has signed on to another series already, so my guess is Dollhouse is not long for this world, or at least his character isn't. Interesting episode, but I was still kinda meh about it. My guess is the head woman is going to end up being the insider giving info to Helo. Seems like Echo's handler is in on it, as well.
All in all, I think I'll be content letting someone else tell me what happened, lol.
