Stupor Tuesday follows Stupor Sunday

Voted early, as we usually do. Had nice walk with the husband to and from the voting place in lovely cold morning sunshine, through a lovely neighborhood with multi-million-dollar homes. In other parts of the country, they'd probably sell for ten cents. Voting was accomplished by means of a new electronic system that I thought was a step backwards from the optical-scan ballots we've used for the last few years. At least it has a clear paper trail, as required by California.

Work was good today. My boss is great, and so is my current project team. I am starting to feel unstressed at last. I'm still in the mire of planning and scoping instead of the airy spaces of joyous implementation, but that phase will end. This too shall pass.

Today's BPAL is Morocco. "The intoxicating perfume of exotic incenses wafting on warm desert breezes. Arabian spices wind through a blend of warm musk, carnation, red sandalwood and cassia." Guh. I smell fabulous.

Random: Official Google + Twittervision + primary results mashup. Pretty fascinating. Also fascinating: Didn't Google buy Twitter-competitor/also-ran Jaiku?

And now! I beta-read a bit more for a couple of you, and then I write. One story. ONE. Until I finish it.
