Thanks! I'm trying to give them equal time with the point of view, though I think Buffy has the edge at the moment. Here I wanted to show Giles enjoying the anticipation, and thinking about some topics I'll return to in later sections. (A vague plan for this whole thing occurred to me a while back.)

No, was thinking literally :) All those dogs freed from the fate of becoming demon-lunch. But it's too silly to happen in this story.

Oh ... waiting ... yeah.

Le sigh.

Although, from my perspective, I just can't see Jenny and Giles indulging in anything, even teh vanilla sex. In my eye, when Giles came home in Passion and saw the champagne and the candles on the steps, it appeared that Jenny was waiting for them to finally consummate their adorable, cute though still awkward relationship. But that's my POV.

Now, back to ... um ... waiting for the next installment.

When I am sticking strictly with canon, I agree with you. Giles and Jenny, if they got together, did so only once or twice. And the discovery scene in "Passion" suggests he was expecting their first time: that hope and joy on his face. (That scene, btw, was what turned me into a rabid fan of Buffy.) But the canon, hey, I treat it as my own personal trampoline. And here I jump up to the roof of the house from it.

And hee! Of course I'm domming you all! I work and sweat and obsess so that I can give you all an intense experience. Pushy bottoms, you all are.
