W00T W00T. Half a semester over already. O_o Time has gone by fast, but I'm so relieved that the first half of the semester is over. I finished my quad so now I'll only have 5 classes to worry about. =D That will give me a bunch more time to do homeworks and hopefully work out. Getting a bit more sleep would be nice too.
I haven't been lacking much sleep during the semester so far. Last week was just hell week. I had to skip 2 classes just to get some extra sleep. I also skipped another on Friday afternoon because there was absolutely no possible way I could have read another 112 pages of a novel and then write a 1-2 page paper discussing what I'd read so far. Nope. So if I did not read, then I couldn't do the homework. If I can't get credit for the homework or even participate in class, there's no point to go. So I didn't.
Jamie, Ben & I left Friday around 1:30pm to head to Jamie's house for the week. Yay fall break! I've desperately needed a break from school work. I've almost caught up with sleep (will be taking a nap shortly), but there has been lots of chatting with pplz and staying up late and such. And nurf wars. Hehehe.
So far I've been able to read a bit, which has been highly enjoyable and destressing. Gotta let my mind wander & destress. I wrote a bit today. Nothing big. It was just a story that I'd written before and forgotten about because it was erased when my computer crashed 2 years ago. And I remembered it. Yay! The only sad part is that there was this awesome scene at the beginning with the slave traders invading a planet and everyone freaking out and running for their lives while mass chaos ensued. Yeah... that was well written. And it's gone so I can't make it as good as it was. U_U
Anyway, I'm gonna be off for that nap pretty soon. Maybe read some more. I'm about half way through Incubus Dreams by Laurell K. Hamilton. Then I'll likely read the Sherrilyn Kenyon novel I picked up. A trilogy that I haven't read because it was old and out of print and has now been majorly revamped. I'm certain it will be epic. Then there's the Sandra Hill novel and the Christine Feehan novel. Oh, and there's one that my roommate Lily lent me about how Koreans were sent to to Japan for labor and then were not allowed to leave Japan, but neither were they allowed to become Japanese citizens. I think the book is called Lost Names. It sounded really interesting to me. I also have a novel I need to read for my Creative Non-fiction class. I don't really want to read it, but I'm already behind. --__-- bleh. It'll probably be entertaining enough, but I want to read my favorite authors first. I'll have to see how much time I'll have for reading here.
So yeah... I said I'd go and take a nap a paragraph ago. And now I will. =D
P.S. Vanilla Smirnoff vodka and Michigan apple cider is really REALLY yummy. ^__^
