For instance, my dog will pretty much sleep until you get up, be that at 7am or 11am. It's pretty nice. Meanwhile, my aunts' & uncles' dogs have waaaaay different sleep schedules. I should know. This is my second weekend in a row that I am dog-sitting. Last weekend I was in Grant Park with 3 dogs & Panda. This weekend I'm in Matteson with 1 goofy dog.
Last weekend I woke around 3-3:30am each night to let the 3 dogs out. Then again at 6am to let them out and give the diabetic dog her insulin. This weekend, aka this morning, my uncle's golden retriever decided that he absolutely had to go out and do his business at 5am. --__-- The only consolation I had was that my uncle warned me that there has been a skunk in the area. So it didn't stink to high heaven until I had the dog run back into the house. I think that might have spooked a neaby shunk because hoo-man! did that stink. I'd had all the windows closed up last night but some of the smell still got in through the back door. I used some "odor neutrilizing" spray my aunt has here. It helped. My only problem now is that I have kept on smelling stinky skunk because that horrid odor is stuck in my nose. How does one clean scents out of one's nose???
btw, I just found a really cool show on the international history channel. It's about secret passageways. AWESOMENESS!
Now there's another cool show about this blind kid who uses a self-taught clicking sound to produce a type of echolocation so he can see where he's going & what he's doing. Pretty cool, huh? Like that one superhero in the movie... I forget the name. It'll come to me later.
