As you may have noticed, if you're not blind as well as stupid, we've activated incoming beacon time travel again. There's been no general update released since we're all a little too busy to give you the cliff notes just yet, so the important bits:
No, this does not mean outbound travel is working yet. It just means we've deemed the system stable enough to allow people to enter under their own power. Believe me, I'm hardly fond of this time myself. I mean, seriously? All the glamour of the future and this place is still about as dismal as you can get. Since a new influx of people generally means a new influx of idiotic questions: yes, this is the future. Yes, your world is dead. Yes, you can visit your dead world if you really like and stare at the ruins in fascination. Yes, you can keep your NEXUS device -- the little phone gadget. No, you can't go back to your time. No, it isn't advisable to wander around outside but if you want to don't blame us when you get attacked by things with sharp claws.
If you think you're the smartest person on the entire planet and we are clearly desperate for your help you're welcome to stop by the labs but I don't care who you are, you are not touching anything until we clear you. Despite what adoring parents may think, logging 400 hours on minesweeper doesn't make you a professional. And watching General Hospital doesn't make you a doctor, either.
[ Yes, he's in the labs at 4AM. You're welcome to realise he also looks like shit if you've seen him lately; in the labs or outside of them (although he's been scarce out of them -- you may have noticed him... idk in hall wandering back to his room.) ]
