[He smiles, unable to contain his joy. Who knows how long he would of have to wait to see her, while he stayed in Nalbina to protect Dalmasca, and now she's here.]

I missed you so much, while at Nalbina.

It must have been difficult, waiting back home.[He pauses, and sighs.] I still feel guilty for having to leave you behind, but there was no other choice. I am sorry.

[He nods solemnly.] If only... [He trails off.] Thank you. 'Tis a duty that I hope to uphold.

[He smiles feeling the anticipation build up. He hadn't seen her since he left to fight, several weeks ago. While on the battle field his thoughts would drift back to her, during moments of peace. ]

[He takes off his metal breastplate, and places it aside, knowing that he will not need it for some time.]

[His jaw drops as she enters the room, she is as beautiful as he remembers perhaps even more so. The guilt from leaving her behind fades away.

He begins to speak, but is silenced by her sudden embrace. His arm finds its way around her waist, and he brings his other hand to her cheek.]

Everything is going to be okay. [He manages to whisper, before wiping her tears away. The last time he had held her so closely, was before boarding the airship headed for Nalbina. There he had promised to return to her, and now he had fulfilled his promise to his wife. ] Don't cry, Ashe.

[He chastely kisses her forehead.]

[He holds on to her tighter, not wanting to let go for now. She was arm unlike the harsh cold reality of war, and this place.]

[He took a deep breath catching a faint whiff of her familiar scent. He stays quiet letting her take the lead.]
