I have a new computer. It is shiny with a big screen and it arrived over the weekend with my Dad who was on his way back from Cornwall. However, due to various reasons it spend the first couple of day on my dinning table, which isn't really a permanent solution as I occasionally use it for its original purpose and also like to sit somewhere comfortable when I watch Dvds which was the main reason for buying something with a big screen. Now it is in the position I thought I wanted it to be in, only all the wires are on the wrong side, and I have wire barf all over the living room. Putting it in a more sensible position wirewise, would mean rearranging the flat and probably having one comfy seat to watch the screen from. I might do some more furniture moving tonight (it is a small flat, so it isn't a great problem), so it means having to carry all the bits and pieces across the room again, and some bits won't come unstuck, which makes for an interesting relay move. Also, if I move the table, I think the big plant leaning against it might fall over, it looks rather as if it needed it for balance.
Apart from that Monday went at its usual snails pace, work hasn't changed over the weekend and I finally watched Torchwood online with proper sound and enjoyed every minute of it.
