(no subject)
I made it to Berlin and back in one piece. The weekend was really nice and relaxing. Unfortunately, I was quite ill Friday evening so I couldn't stay very long for A's birthday party, but instead took my cold back to the hotel and had an early night. The hotel was much nicer than I had expected and it had an extensive choice for breafast which was great. I was disappointed that I had to miss breafast today as I had to leave at some ridicilously early hour to get to the airport. Luckily there was a direct bus nearby and it only took 30 minutes to get to the airport, so that wasn't too bad.
Saturday and Sunday were spend pottering around Berlin, doing a bit of shopping, chatting with R and A, and watching some Bollywood after R left. I took things slowly and am feeling quite relaxed if rather tired.
Now I only have to sort out the restaurant for Saturday, which has become rather short notice to sort stuff out. Maybe I can get my mother to phone up one place herself. Her English isn't that bad and then it wouldn't be my responsibility if things are not like she wants them.
