mind blowingly numbing days

First I have to say that I'm trying to finish this massive research paper today and I only have five more sources to use. I just have to figure where to put two of them... and I'm only running on a few hours of sleep because I didn't go to bed until X-files came on in the morning (that's 4am if you didn't know). You want to know why? Because I was hanging out with someone I haven't spoken to in almost a year.

Well obviously that's not true anymore because I've been speaking to him since Sunday.

So I went to the paper as they finished editing it (dodged that bullet!) and met with the editor in cheif, then preceded to go to Steak N Shake and had a shake and fries. I wasn't that hungry b/c well I had dinner that night. Then, we went and watched the Cable Guy at his house. And for once, I was not the one who fell asleep during the film. So the movie ended and I tried to wake him up because I'm a good friend unlike SOME people, but all I got in response was a loud SNORE. yes, a snore, don't let him tell you differently. So after unsuccessfully trying to wake him up three times, I turned off the DVD player, left the TV on so I would have some light to see by to get out the door, and then perceded out the door and to my car. As I was cranking it up, he came out of the house. He was so embarrassed that he had fallen asleep, and his excuse was that he had been sitting in front of a computer for the best part of 15 hours. I just laughed and said I wouldn't tell many people.

But it was weird, because I was sitting in his mother's house, watching a film, and he was asleep on the couch next to me. And I just was so happy to be able to hang out with him again. I'm just glad I didn't fall asleep.

So anyway, even though I have the falling asleep/snoring thing, he's got some embarrassing video of me that's online. So I think we're even.
