I have internet!!
Yaaaay! So, I have internet hooked up in my new apartment FINALLY (Verizon DSL, only $14.95 a month how sweeet is that?) And, so.... Yay! So.. I've been living in my apartment for approximately a month. it's going well. I'm still unpacking and getting settled a little bit, and I still don't have anything to sit on in my living room except one armchair (if anyone wants to get me this futon for X-mas, we could remedy that....) but I have my own washer and dryer and I picked out my own shower curtain and my rats are allowed to stay and I hung up some of my mom's paintings and I cook my own meals on my George Foreman grill. Rock on.
I plan on sewing myself up some adorable orange-and-white gingham curtains. 'twill be awesome.
Beyond the apartment thing, I am playing semi-regular gigs and have just started hosting a twice-weekly open mic night at a coffee house downtown. I am still single, but am keeping myself well occupied... I've made some freakin' awesome friends in the past few months and love them to bitses.
Oh and I'm blonde now, for a little bit. Kind of a dark honey/strawberry blonde. It's pretty, but it's taking some getting used to since I've never been blonde before. I don't have any pictures (another X-mas present hint, if you feel like splurging... digital camera, since mine bit the dust quite a while ago...)
