so I'm creating, for my campaign setting, new guns of other species' makes. Right now I'm on the Daal, and it's like, getting into the mindset of a nonhuman species and then designing things from that place of identification...
it's fucking hard.
also I nicked myself shaving and I just keep bleeding goddamn.
But seriously. I 'get' what sort of weapons my species use, but actually statting them out is fuckhard.
It doesn't help that I've lost a lot of my 'feel' for the cost and weight of firearms. I must, I must, I must increase my knowledge of firearm baseline statistics.
I love subverting shit.
I also love beer and blood.
I really wonder how Arakkhal bloodwine would taste. I mean, I know it's irony and syrupy and sour and lumpy and heavily spiced, but that's just a theoretical thing. I really wonder if it'd be enjoyable. Somehow I think not. Because, well...aged blood mixed with fermented sour fruit juice sounds pretty fucking nasty.
