Belated update!

Soooooo. Updates. I really am a sucky lj-er. I just update what I want and... blah.
My Halloween update that no one cares about a week late. Go me.

Therefore, I shall update about my weekend anyways and such. Halloween! Whoo I get to dress up like the freak I am, and carry around my three pretty not so sharp stabbities.

Friday
Friday I was sick all afternoon, blargh. I am fairly sure I've managed to give myself an ulcer. My stomach hurts all the time, like acid hurting, and it goes in waves. I've also coincidentally developed like super-knots in my back that defy massage and disallow sleeping. Poor Mark having to put up with my fidgeting in bed trying to get comfy Sat. night. Then I started to feel better, so I put on my costume and went with my friend Liz to Rodeo nightclub. It's a club that alternates between country and rap music. Weird combination, but amusing to watch costumed people screechingly change gears from line dancing to grinding.

Saturday
This was my real day of excitement.. I slept in lateishly, and spent the afternoon studying and trying to do laundry. I failed to get an open machine. Then it was time to meet Mark’s parents for the first time. EEEE. If any of you were so unlucky as to have to talk to me shortly before this, I apologize. I was a nervous wreck. As to the drama the week before from this, well, that’s all passed and a figment of my imagination as I knew it was, but was too paranoid to get it to go away. It went well, his parents are so very cool, and his mom said I was sweet, cute, and she sees why Mark likes me. Score! Step one: family infiltration complete. =)

Saturday night right after we got back from a very nice dinner with Mark, his parents, his sister, and her boyfriend, I ran down, threw my clothes into a washer, came back upstairs and helped Mark into his kilt. Which he had forgotten the belt to, a very important holding up part, in his apartment. Well, since it had taken 20 minutes to get him into just that part of the kilt, I went back to the apt for him, found the belt, brought it back, and finished putting the durn kilt on him for another 40 minutes. Part of which was trying to decipher his roomie’s instructions of how to put it on, and another oh trying to figure out how to tie the stupid belt in a weird hitch knot thingy. I must say that despite being supremely frustrated and a giant ball of stress when I was done with it, he looked darn good. Shame it was his roommate’s kilt and he couldn’t go true *shines halo*. I have pictures, I just have to develop the film. Which means I have to find a place to do so.

So after the whole kilt/laundry ordeal, my ulcer I think I’ve given myself is acting up and I feel pretty crappy. So we go to my friend’s apartment for a fun filled night of pumpkin carving and then maybe drinking, depending on how things go. Nope, I last about 20 -40 minutes of jut sitting around watching SNL before my stomach hurt too bad, so we went back to Mark’s apt where I was to get looked after and spoiled and such to feel better. Well, his roommate had rented “The Brotherhood” to watch. BAD MOVIE!!!!! It got so bad we turned it off and made up the dialogue for it. Then we watched an episode or two of the anime Hellsing, which is about vampires. Proper for Halloween, and a good series anyways.

Sunday
So I go to bed it’s very early Sunday, yay for leaving pj’s at Mark’s so I could change out of my costume. I crashed for a few hours (like 5 am to 4 pm), then went back to my place, in costume since I had nothing else to wear, changed, did a touch of studying, and went back over to Mark’s to play D&D (I know, I know, I’m a nerd. I don’t care, it’s fun) with his two roommates, their girlfriends, and another friend. So I finally get home around 3am Monday morning, study, go to class, and yay.

The rest of the week consisted of trying to sleep, failing at that for the most part, going to class. The usual boring week stuff.

Now, this Saturday I may get to go to the Minneapolis Institute of Arts with friends. They all have papers to write, and I’m going to see all the stuff I didn’t get to stare at when I was on my first date with Mark there. Whee.

Pictures from Halloween when I get them developed. Speaking of which, does anyone know a relatively cheap but decent place to get my Advantix film developed around campus? Also, I need it soon, because I guess Mark gets credit in one of his classes if he has proof he dressed up.

And now for “Fun with quizzes”
I have to go up against Byron. I want to know how I have even that high of a chance of surviving. =)

Mwah! Dumb luck always works in Zombie movies! Yay!

Brian, I’m sorry you’ve been potentially killed by a vibrant color.

And I’ve already taken out some zombies this way, at least the ones Megan didn’t make walk into the wall, but really it’s just a bad joke. Meh.

And I’m done now.
