i'll be there, and i'll cover you...
this weekend has just been the greatest. ive really had a lot of time to just let everything thats been weighing on me go for a while. plus i got to hang with a lot of my good friends.
friday- went to see RENT with everybody from dreamspinners and mainstage, about 30 of us total. let me tell you, RENT IS THE BEST MOVIE EVER! i loved every second of it. it was so much fun and sad and moving. just amazing. i also got to sit with jordan, which was really nice. :-) the whole night was great, its a movie that you have to see with all of your closest friends.
thursday- my parents decided to have thanksgiving home, so it was just the three of us. i guess since we've always had thanksgiving at our house, it would've felt weird for them to go out. i dunno, it just felt like regular dinner to me. well if anything good came from it, it was that i didnt have to get dressed up or anything, so i was in sweats.
friday- had a really good vocal lesson. debb was nice enough to extend it for an extra half hour, so we could work on lesson stuff, look at audition stuff for college, and musical auditions. so im good with all of that. got home, relaxed, then went to see RENT again with jordan. just as awesome as before. i swear, i could see that movie 100 times. heh, more on that later. so adam, liz, and gary ended up at the same show so i went to friendlys with them, where i found a bunch of friends from school who had also seen RENT at a different showing. hanging out with them there made me realize how much i miss some of my band friends, and i definatly need to see them more out of school.
saturday- i went to the mall and got a lot of cool clothes for myself. i also found a kick ass scarf and hat from aero. then i went home and then over to adam's 21st b-day party. it was funny, he kept getting alcohol and flasks as presents. so the party was boring so i kinda just sat around. then i went to see harry potter with jojo and everyone else who went. i dunno, i really didnt like it that much. it was ok, but not great. i dunno. ray fines kicked ass though as the V-man. lol, random. but yea, thats it really.
today- got up, dressed, and you guessed it, i saw RENT again. lol. thats it 3 times. 3 glorious times. this time, i saw it with my mom, who really loved it. then i had harmony, which kinda stunk, w/e. then i went to meg's mom's viewing. its so sad :-( even though i dont really know meg that much, i still wanted to pay my respects. so now im home and i havent really done any homework. maybe i should at least give my script a reading, seeing that the play is friday. hah. oh yea, everybody should come see The Mouse That Roared this friday at i think 7.
