I was just browsing
one of the many Leroux discussion threads at PFN and came across something I found interesting and rather amusing. Posted by PFN's one and only Mary Sue, a comparison between Jesus Christ and Christine Daaé.
Christ:
Kindhearted, gentle, befriended sinners, genuinely loved everyone despite their backround/past
Christine:
Deceitfull, hard hearted, distanced herself from Erik when she saw his face, and tried to leave him-broken hearted, waiting for her to return. Only felt mild pity for Erik
Christ:
Saved all humanity and died, despite the fact that he had all the power to save himself, despite the mocking of the very people he was saving
Christine:
Gave in to Erik only when the other option was death, and left him at the first opportunity.
Final results:
Humanity: Is saved! (Huzzah)
Erik: Dies. Alone. In a cellar.

Leroux!Christine and Leroux!Raoul deserve each other. "You great booby!" XD
Don't forget to crash Daphne's house tomorrow, debaters. <3
Oh, and by the by.
The wonderful Louise, PFN's Wandering Angel, was so sweet to me today. She shared some SB videos with me. <3 I feel my inferiority complex(es) bubbling, but I'm enjoying it anyway.
1) I now have "Anytime, Anywhere" at my disposal. She has lots of close-ups here, one gets to appreciate the perfection that is her face. I run my tongue over spring-laden, rubber-held braces and wonder, will my teeth ever be that straight?
2) The "Winter Light" video is less than one minute long. If you have seen it, you'll sob over the same reason I'm sobbing. WHY IS IT ONLY FIFTY-FOUR SECONDS LONG? Yes, we get her OMFG figure here...
3) "Harem" strikes me as a really fun video to shoot. Hair extension overkill, but I love it anyway.
4) Sarah Brightman should be alluded to a cigarette. Or a pack or three. So addicting, it's deadly, it should be considered illegal, but thank High Heavens it's not.
5) I wish I had RealPlayer. I need someone to convert the rest of the videos to Windows Media-compatible formats or something. I have .ram files of "Captain Nemo" and -gasp with me- "I Lost My Heart To A Starship Trooper".
I'm such a hopeless, hapless, pathetic fangirl. What else is new, world?
"No, I can be no man's wife!"
Implications, implications. *cackle*
