Before everything else:
♥ New layout! I temporarily gave up on image maps because they are like, t3h bitch. V1.0, because this is the only version I bothered to name. I heart heart heart the cap on the upper left. It's perfection. I have a feeling that the frame on the upper right isn't bevilled and embossed and shadowed properly, but according to my PSD it is. It's quite disconcerting. oO Oh well. TR Love. OTPness, J&J, knockers and all. Grunge borders by
Tackybrush. Icon and coding by yours truly.
♥ New email address! My main websites update me now at des@fushigiyuugi.net.
You should too. ♥ The USB wire that uploads pictures from my camera is gone. T_T I'll hunt around for one so I can make cocky picture posts, which I assume everyone wants to see omg.
Instructions:
Comment on this entry and I will give you a letter. Write ten words beginning with that letter in your journal, including an explanation of what the word means to you and why, and then pass out letters to those who want to play along.
I got a Y from
sherlock_hound, so:
1. Yemen: In the 7th grade, I found myself attached to a country I know zip about.
2. Ye: My now-standard reply to anyone that calls my attention or says something I agree with and/or find amusing and/or pleasurable. (Also, after checking the dictionary, it is also a literary pronoun, the archaic plural of thou.)
3. Yellow: A color.
4. Yanagi: Nuriko's mark as a seishi. ♥
5. Ya Shosla S Uma: "All The Things She Said" in Russian.
6. Yakitori: The usual aside-from-sashimi dish.
7. Youngblood: An interesting project of the... Inquirer's? Yeah. Lots of interesting gems in there. (Well, once upon a time.)
8. YMCA: Mother used to get me to rock out to this when I had no sense of dignity.
9. Yorkie: Peppie The Pirate, my Nintendog, is one. Though, thanks to my sister's selfishness, I haven't seen him nor Lemon in almost a week. X3
10. Yonkers: Something I use, maybe as an adjective similar to nutters, or a synonym to knockers. ^_^
And just because it looks like so much fun, the baduy things from
_stillframe_. In random order:
1. I so love The Pussycat Dolls. ♥_♥ They only want what they want, my hahaha, hahaha. Oh shut up. Shut up!
2. I sing along to the Italian version of Rent and to the themes of Fushigi Yuugi, even if I don't know the words.
3. I make atypical romance
AMVs in my head, and they're all set to Pag-Agos. (Good Pag-Agos video = OTP.)
4. Whenever I see a boy I find omgwapisimo, I find myself unable to suppress a huge cheeky-ass grin. Scruffy boys on vacation, usually.
5. I make icons for my personal enjoyment.
6. I use the
FFN Search Engine. Notice the story category. @_@
7. My favorite Disney movie is The Emperor's New Groove and I love it so so so so much, it's not even cute anymore. Once upon a time, I re-enact scenes from it spontaneously. Irregardless of the number of characters involved in it.
8. I used to own a herd of Skydancers. I'd let them go at the same time, watch them knock into each other and crash to the ground. Repeat process until amusement runs out.
9. Fandom influences me heavily. I role-play(ed) in real life. Once upon a time, I was Kathryn Janeway, captain of the Federation starship Voyager, Voyager being the entirety of Poveda. The gym was the holodeck, the canteen was the mess hall, the clinic was sick bay, the main gate was the shuttle port, Segovia gate was the cargo bay, 6D was the bridge and my table was the captain's quarters. I referred to those areas as such. I was Kathryn Janeway, captain of the Federation starship Voyager, and I demanded to be referred to as such. (It was also because of Star Trek that I began taking coffee, Earl Gray tea, banana pancakes, steak and potatoes, angel hair pasta, and the habit of saying "Make it so." and "Kap'lah.") I'll keep my Pokédays and POTOdays to myself now.
10. I say "I like Pokémon" a lot, in hopes of starting a conversation. I'm also an extremely outspoken and unshakably hardcore
Rocketshipper, and will squeeweeweee to anyone who is willing to listen.
Like now:
"Oh well, I guess James chose to hang up his Team Rocket costume..."
"Guess all dat money and luxury was just too temptin' for James ta give up."
"... I guess you're right."
"Prepared for trouble?"
"Hey, it's him!"
"James! Make it double!"
"Guess we're not going to get rich this time, either."
"Guess not. They wouldn't give me the inheritance."
"Oh, there's always next time. We may not make a lot of money, but we sure have got our freedom!"
"Yeah. Double trouble time?"
"Sounds great to me, James!"
AUDC.
The day in itself was absolute splendor. We're all going to be squealing surgeons.
Hurrah for Elise listening to pop music and reading gay haiku.
Hurrah for Jess Lopez and his unabashed manifestation of lykpow3r. ♥_♥! Ibilib.
Anyhoo, I, along with Casi, Chrissie (THERE CHRISSIE YAY! X3), and Kat, volunteered ourselves to be runners and/timers. Herding up your teams and escorting them to their respective rooms is funny, but stressful, for me, since I had no idea where the said rooms were. Calling out their team names and waving signs around is comparable to working at a marketplace, possibly even pimping.
I was actually keen on listening the round, motion being This house supports the creation of an independent Kurdistan, partly because I did not know that such a country existed. Sad to say, I wasn't able to understand a word that the debaters said, mostly because of their accents. I timed the round between Yokohama National University and Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY), round in favor of UMY.
This kind of thing? Real fun.
Irisaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. Irisa is Mummy Dearest now. Hug-hug, Mummy Dearest, hug-hug.
Goood thing nothing's happening tomorrow. I'll call about the jackets tomorrow! Tonight, I'm going to sleep late. Shower, read, Pokémon.
Dinner first, dinner first.
"Marshmallows don't talk."
"But how are you going to fall in lust with me if I don't wow you with my sarcasm and dry humor?"
