XDDD
And here comes the pre-exam jolt of creativity, through a different medium this time.
Brought about by four straight days of perturbing conversations and disturbing epiphanies, I am pleased to finally unveil to my LJ friends a mini-gallery type presentation of Photoshopped collages, pictures found through Google, that I call, collectively, as:
Fucking Emo :D
Complete with slit wrists, smile-less faces, and lyric captions from alternative rock bands and archaic authors, these were blended in Photoshop 7 during a time of genuine distress and, as you'll see towards the end, attempted contrast in emotion.
In high school, it was cool to say:
You look funny
You're a retard, dummy!
A retarded dummy
Yeah, you suck, out of luck, you're no Playboy bunny
Hee hee
So you laugh, it's a gas, they're right on the money
They're just being funny, hysterically funny
Yeah, I'm stupid it's true
Now, can we be chummy?
Maybe...
But then it hits you, then it kicks you
Then you realize you're not unique
And you ignore it, you implore it just to let you get on through the week
Don't wanna think about the new armed forces, don't wanna sing about no carriage horses
I don't need this, I don't see this
All I want is inner peace
I Didn't Kill You, I Only Advocated Your Suicide And Attained The Vote Of The Masses
The long title is a nod to Panic! At The Disco, though the lines quoted are from Anberlin, their - coincidentally quite fitting - "Never Take Friendship Personal". The photo aims to direct a painful, dramatical end to the cause of mental anguish, though the direction the violence is directed to could be considered as ambiguous. Self-mutiliation or mass murder? The bebe reminds the artist of her little sister at two.

Sorry For The Views, Iunno How To Schmooze
The title is directly based on a song by Nellie McKay, "Sari", and captioned with Panic! At The Disco, "Build God, Then We'll Talk". I don't know how to treat other people because other people don't know how to treat me. Very emo indeed. Originally black-and-white, the artist added a copper gradient on a whim, to break the monotony.

Mathematics | Isolation
A nod to Rent, the title goes. A dash of Shakespeare inserted into the photo of happy worldly appreciation through music, obviously a stark contrast to the previous two. Free of malice and sincere, the artist likes the mardi gras beads in the background the most. Rawk on.
Oh now I do recall
We were just getting to the part where the shock sets in
And the stomach acid finds a new way to make you get sick
I hope you didn't expect that you'd get all of the attention
Now let's not get selfish
Did you really think I’d let you kill this chorus?

I'll comment on your brilliance later, Nex. Dinner calls. *does the Miaka*
