Retarded early morning american TV
There is some kind of reality TV show running in the background which appears to be some kind of contest between the two halves of a couple to determine who is smarter. The smart person in the room is most definitely not the person who came up with the contest. Question in point:
'Arm is to elbow as foot is to...?'
A. Leg
B. Knee
C. Calf
D. Ankle
According to the producers, the correct answer was D. Funnily enough, contestants looked baffled and did not answer correctly. Not that it mattered, because the contest was decided on who finished in the shortest time. Not to mention that the questions were read out to them. The victor won by 3 seconds, which could easily have been variance in the time the speaker took to read the questions each time.
I petition that all current TV is wiped save for the boring documentaries to stop old people complaining, Takeshi's Castle, and a selection of prime comedy and classic TV to be selected by a committee with some shred of taste.
