(no subject)
Well today I went and tried on a suit for my sister's wedding. I am a dashing young man in a suit oh yes indeed. Then I dropped by John's house and we watched a tape of Survivor and they made them drink blood and milk from a cow. They showed how the blood comes, yes you guessed it, frrm the cow's neck - a vein no less! It was pretty graphic and then they had to drink it I was feeling pretty squeamish. I am surprised there wasn't a large number of complaints to the show's producers over it... Considering my standpoint on cruelty to animals it was interesting for me because I know a couple of years ago I would have watched something like that with interest, but now I was pretty much offended. I am finding it interesting the more aware I am of these things the more distressed I become and less 'of a real man' about it. Ha! The stigma that remains attached to society's standards! Okay enough of my stupid self-realisation - I am going to work.
