[ Of course Minako had wondered whether this place was heaven for a few moments - after all, going to her examination for the surgery she had suddenly started to feel pretty light-headed, and it wouldn't have surprised her if she would have died right there and then. But for something like this to be heaven.. Trapped in a strange house, on family pictures with people she even barely knew, a place like this was way too unconventional to be heaven, right?
Thankfully she was able to get the laydown about this place from a few of the people in the house. This wasn't heaven, in fact, from what she had been able to gather this was more like hell than anything else. Powers were taken away in this place, but.. heh, she was barely able to transform anymore either way with her kind of illness, right? Even though her powers had finally awakened.. it was pretty much already too late. Of course Minako knows this too. But still there was some strange feeling in her body, as if she felt infinitely lighter today for no particular reason. (Of course the reason is the lack of her brain tumor, but it's not like Minako can just realise it this quickly.)
Still.. heaven or hell or Mayfield, this place required a bit more investigation. It was the least she could do as Sailor Venus, after all. And being cooped up in this house wouldn't help anything, so.. she grabbed a coat and went out on the streets, roaming around slightly stealthily (at least her idol career had paid off in ways like this).
But investigation and being careful don't always go well together, especially not with the surprises of this place, so it doesn't take long before Minako feels herself accidentally bumping into someone, falling and landing on the sidewalk on her butt rather ungracefully. ]
