Personality-wise or even ability-wise nothing will change for Ange with this canon update, the only difference is a bit of added history.

Ange's previous point in canon was near the end of EP4, before shooting her 'aunt' - or rather the metaphorical representation of her aunt. Her new canon point will be the end of EP6.

Added history: Ange shoots her aunt and is sent back to the metaworld now she understands what she has to do; to save Battler who doesn't know who he is anymore and lost his spirit she has to tell him that she's really his little sister, that she's really Ange. However, this means she breaks a rule one of the witches set up for her (she wasn't allowed to tell Battler who she really was), so she's torn apart by hot irons until she's nothing but minced meat.

Ange isn't seen again in EP5. In EP6 she is revived (or wakes up as) as a different world's Ange, considering she hasn't gone to Rokkenjima where she killed her aunt(s) yet in that world. But she still has all of her memories of what she went through, including killing her aunts and dying for Battler's sake, so practically her memories are merged. What's new in this world is that she has read the stories of all the previous 'games' Beatrice and Battler had (including EP5). Also new in that world is that she wakes up to an appointment with Hachijou Toya, who wrote novels about what happened during the Rokkenjima Mass Murder Case of 1986. (Which Ange has read in that world, hence her new knowledge of all the previous games.) Ange remembers that in the previous world this appointment was cancelled, so for it to actually happen in this world must be a 'miracle'. However, Hachijou Toya isn't a normal human either, she is actually the witch Featherine Augustus Aurora, the witch of Theatergoing, who is the person who revived Ange.

Hachijou Toya invites Ange to read her newest work, 'Dawn of the Golden Witch' - the newest tale she wrote about what happened on Rokkenjima in 1986 and the story of EP6. Ange is practically the one who reads the tale and discusses it with Hachijou Toya; sort of an observer while the story plays out. After finishing the tale she leaves with Amakusa to head to Rokkenjima once again.

Tl;dr: What Ange gets out of this canon update is mostly just knowledge of all of Battler and Beatrice's previous 'games' and knowledge of the witch Featherine.
