Diva Phoenix
So, this past Saturday, my mom schlepped off to Florida, not to return until May 25th, leaving me alone with my cat for ten days.
Dramatic Phoenix Incident Number #1: Just as I was settling down last night -- about to drop off into dreamland -- Phoenix started meowing (and meowing and meowing). She's not a very vocal cat, so I assumed something was wrong. I flicked on my light to discover her rolling around on my bedroom floor, howling for no particular reason (I can respect that, I suppose). I picked her up and put her in my bed to give her some attention, which I'm certain was all she wanted. She then began a routine of flopping down on me, nudging me, meowing, standing up and then repeating it all over again. I threw her out at one point, but my door doesn't lock or close completely, so being the headstrong, demanding little thing she is, she just pushed open the door and hopped up on the bed again.
Sleepless night, I had.
In other news, Ryan Adams tonight! I seriously feel like vomiting. No, seriously.
