Christmas Event

[December 22]

[The door to Bazett's house is not so opened--it is kicked so hard that it caves in. Bazett stomps in, absolutely fuming. Her trip to the post office has obviously been unsuccessful.]

[He pokes his head out a little bit. He wasn't sure what to think, he wasn't suppose to exist anymore, right? He was fake, right?]

Y-you still r-remember me?

...A little bit.

[Most of it is either from the notes or the few memories that she has started to recover.]

I know that you are my ally and that you are real. However, there probably will be people who will assume you are a fake and attempt to kill you, either to retrieve what they believe to be the "real" Alessandro, or because they wish to use this announcement as an excuse to cause as much havoc as possible. Therefore, I will need to get you somewhere safe.

K-k-kill me!?

[He had missed the announcement.]

Is there a-anywhere even s-safe in this place?

I will do my best to protect you.

[She shoves the backpack that she is carrying at him.]

Pack up as much as you can. We're going to my house.

[He takes it a little startled and then looks around a little lost.]

Wh-what should I take?

Food, clothing, perhaps weapons if you have any. I will do my best to fortify my house against any invaders. I will also need to check on my other allies, so it would be best if you brought along something that you can use to contact me quickly.

[Hopefully, the change of location will be enough to throw off some of the attackers.]

[He didn't have any sort of radio, and he only had the clothes in the closet he was given on waking up. It also seemed wrong to take food from the kitchen when it wasn't really his....]

I c-can go get a change of clothes, I'll be r-right back!

[It wasn't that long, he just put a few things in a bag. This was so much different than what he was used to. Not that he wasn't used to evacuating quickly, but when those things happened there was always someone else doing everything and his Sister would be by his side managing it all.]

I-I'm ready.

[She looks to both sides and only motions for him to move when she is sure that there is no one approaching from either inside or outside. She does not want to risk anyone spotting their movement.]

Make sure to be quiet. Any potential attackers could recognize your voice.

[He nods nervously. Were people really going to come after him like that? It was hard to believe.]

[She throw her jacket over his head as they walk down the streets, trying to obscure his identity. She's not sure how many allies he has and how many of them would now target him, but she doesn't want to take any chances.]

[She once again wishes she still had her magecraft. It would be much easier to protect him if she did.]

[Did Abel count? Because if Abel counted he had like... 2.5? Maybe? Either way he follows obediently, the only thing he was good at, at least he felt this was the only thing, was being able to follow directions when told. Or, try his best at it. Sometimes his Sister would get frustrated with him and that always made him feel like a failure.]

[They don't run into many aggressive people on the streets. She supposes they are all too occupied with their own agendas to pay attention to her or the boy that she is escorting.]

[Another good thing is that he shows far less resistance than Tohsaka does. All things considered, it is very easy to get him to their destination.]

[Once again, she checks that there is no one watching before opening the door and silently gesturing for him to go inside.]

[He hurries in paranoid that something was going to happen. Something always happens doesn't it? But once inside he's relieved and physically relaxes.]

[She quickly shuts the door behind them.]

Hold on a second.

[She rushes into one of the back rooms. When she returns, she is holding an axe. She means to give it to him so he can use it to defend himself in her absence. Obviously, she has no idea of how this can be taken the wrong way.]

[He rather trusts her completely so he doesn't assume the worst, but he's not sure what to do with an ax. It looks heavy too.]

Wh-what's that for?

Self defense. Listen--I am going to go out and make some tent poles.

[From the trees in the front yard, of course.]

Set up a place to sleep, preferrably one where you can easily escape from the garage or back yard if needed. When I get back, I will explain the details.
