THE SUPER SECRET DIARY OF OGATA SEIJI

Monday
Woke up late after yesterday’s party. Wasn’t happy about the fact so I scared a little insei boy to feel better. It worked. He was so scared he called me Meijin. That put me in a better mood. I want to be Meijin. Why can’t I be Meijin already? I’m a better suited man for a Meijin: I dress better and also look scarier.
Tuesday
Went shopping today and I bought a suit. It was white. Convinced Akira-kun to go with me and bought him a suit, too. It was green. Got to see Akira-kun change into that suit and became v. happy. Wanted to molest Akira-kun, but didn’t. Akiko-san would kill me. She can be v. scary.
Wednesday
Tokugawa died today. Had to flush him down the toilet. It was v. sad. I watched as his black scales glistened in the dim bathroom light and reflected against the pristine white ceramic of the toilet seat. It was poetic. I cried a little and then drank sake. I think I called Kuwabara, but can’t remember. There was cackling, but that could just be my imagination.
Thursday
It wasn’t my imagination. Had to deal with kissy faces and smacking noises throughout the day. It distressed me, but I didn’t show it. I was strong, because I’ll be Meijin soon. It didn’t matter that I lost a game to that stupid old fart. I did it on purpose.
Bought a goldfish. Named him Sai. He’s v. pretty. Hope he gets along with Honinbou. They would make pretty fish together.
Friday
Got email today. Actually, a lot of emails. They contained a lot of disturbing images of men from 80’s in strange outfits doing strange things. I got scared. Must remember to torture Shindou tomorrow for showing the old creep how to use a computer. That’s too evil even for my standards.
But I’m not evil, of course. Not Meijin, either. Unfortunately.
Saturday
Cornered Shindou at the Institute and tried the trick with pinning him to the wall again. Asked him about Sai too, for good measure. Worked like a charm. He should remember not to mess with the man who will be Meijin. Soon.
Wanted to scare more insei but the stupid reporter was there. Pretended not to notice he stared at my ass. Hmmm... apparently ass looks v. good in the new suit.
Sunday
Touya family invited me to dinner. It was v. good and I got to sit next to Akira-kun. He wore a very low-cut sweater. His skin is v. pretty. I like sitting close to him. Didn’t molest him, because Akiko-san had a scary look on her face and would kill me if I tried anything. I wonder if that’s why I my stomach was upset after eating the dessert. No one else seemed affected.
Touya-san played a game with me. Akira-kun watched so I tried to impress him with my foudroyant chess skill. Think he had sparkling eyes of adoration directed at me. It felt nice. Too bad I lost. I would have won if I were Meijin.
Still not Meijin. Damnit.
