This is quite lovely, and the "Festival of Swords" scene was amazingly intense. But what a terrifyingly cryptic (at least to me) ending--I feel it can be read either way, and no matter what, the results won't be good for either of our heroes.
No, wait, what? You can't stop there, this was amazing and fantastic and WHOA. Where's the rest of this? You can't stop there! (This was amazing and fantastic, and I want more more more more!)

That was brilliant: it's like the other side of the 'my sword can touch you now' metaphor and I can completely see Sai being deadly with a sword
