(no subject)
Worked yet another 15 hour watch last night.
Good times though cause it was with Chops and it was a
PERFECT day!
Cloudy, but not windy and not a rain drop in the sky!
Might be another long day tonight though:(
Well,
after I got off of B/C watch,
I drove for an hour to the heart of Downtown St. Louis to pick up Kristina from a bar down there.
I got to see the arch though and got detoured through a rough part of St Louis where I was propositioned by cheap crack-whores near a place called FantasyLand that's, according to their sign, "Only a Kiss Away."
::Shudders::
Got lost by the stadium and asked some cat that reminded me of Rich Hoffman for directions.
Let's see...
I left the hotel at 10:30... got Home at almost 12:30,
had a free beer at the hotel bar and went to sleep.
Now I gotta get out to the field again for pack rides here in half an hour.
Blech!
Oh well,
it's gonna be a long day...
On a lighter note,
Chops, Brian and Matty can't see why I havn't been signed off on watches yet.
They say I've got it down.
I guess whenever Cheryl gets back and She and Jeff are confident,
that's when I'll get signed off.
I'm in no rush,
I just feel like I'm wasting another crew's time cause they have to be out there with me.
Oh well.
Talked with the Airport manager yesterday for about an hour.
He clocked over 2000 hours of flight time in B-52's during WW2.
But he'd never seen a blimp up close before.
Then I watched bi-planes take off all day...
and I mean OLD-SCHOOL bi-planes...
ones that I was suprised could even take off they were sooo old.
Talked with some Cessna people and watched movies.
15 hours is a long time to kill...

gotta run back out to the field.
Miss ya all... but this life's an adventure and I'm just enjoying the ride:)
