(no subject)
Well... let's see. I worked ALL DAY yesterday. I put in a 15 hour watch with Cheryl, my Assistant Crew Chief. She's cool. She showed me just about everything on that airship about 3 times and I still don't know it all... give it time I guess:)
Today: Slept in,
did laundry,
got gloves.
Then I pretty much spent the rest of the day turning cd's into Mini-Discs:)
Good times.
Not much to do in El Paso...
A bunch of the crew went to Juarez, Mexico last night... but I had watch...
so I didn't.
I watched Crank Yankers though:)
I'm liking the job though.
It's fun to just be left with a blimp:)
I wish I knew enough about them that I wouldn't worry about it everytime that the wind picks up and it looks like it's gonna fly away...
but again,
that'll come with time.
Havn't done much drinking...
but that's because I'm waiting for my pay to go through.
Nothing yet.
From here we go to Odessa, Texas... then I think to Dallas. Not sure though.
Apparently no one ever is in this job.
That's cool with me though,
I'm just along for the ride.
I DO like landing the ship and taking it off.
It's pretty fun:)
I got in good with Carl, the Pilot, yesterday.
I told him that I've worked with computers since I was born.
I'm his unofficial computer repairman now:)
That's a good thing.
I need to add some RAM to his computer and good stuff like that though.
Still...
kissing up to the pilot's never a bad thing.
Especially since Cheryl says that it takes awhile for him to warm up to new crew.
I'm kind of honored I guess:)

hunger calls...
then cable TV calls.
