Awriigghhhht, HELLO AGAIN YOU GUYS. TWENTY TEN IS HERE AND OCTOBER IS HERE AND IT IS TIME FOR NANOPLANMO! This year's novel, Turn and Face the Strange, is based on the songs of David Bowie. Thus, in the name of research I'm buying new CDs and memorabilia and LPs I can't play every week. The latest purchase is a DVD of rare videos, "Space Oddities." Basically super amazing. (My comment from last year questioning what listening to "The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars," my first Bowie CD, would do to my plot amuses me. To my 2009 plot? Absolutely nothing. To my 2010 plot? Absolutely everything. To my sanity? Irreparable damage.)
I am so super excited about this guys, so excited. At the same time I am absolutely terrified, because I GOTTA win this year, I GOTTA. I mean, I bought a 2010 shirt! That makes this an INVESTMENT! I'm FREAKING OUT. Just a little bit. Yes. And I'm living out of my parents' house for the first year, which means no bedtimes, I buy my own groceries, and I can go to all the write-ins I want! I'm invisioning a month very, very full of pocky and strong tea.
