Summary: Kirk knew a storm when he saw one, and this had been brewing in quiet desperation for months. When Spock goes into pon farr while he, Kirk, and Uhura are stranded on a planet and needs both humans to save him, uncomfortable truths edge to light.

And your so mean. XD I was really worried that Spock didn't love
Uhura, but that was on purpose of course, hehe! So glad when I got to
Spock's thoughts and it showed how he does love her! Would have been
so sad if she was helping him through pon farr so jim and Spock can
get together afterwards :-(. Not that of course shed ever do
otherwise! She could never not help him! very well done though, especially after Vulcan's destruction it's so reasonable that it might be hard to keep a relationship together.

Was very surprised (in a good way!) when you had the sandwich with jim
taking Spock. I think I've read too many pon farr fics with the whole
'spock can't be topped' trope, lol.

The girl cranes her head over Spock's shoulder. She kisses the
golden boy's lips.

Again, you surprise me XD. Saw the build up from Jim's side of course,
but wasn't sure if your uhura was going to accept jim at all.

i must remember not to read your stories on my iphone though, as the notepad doesn't do italics, which is slightly annoying, lol. XD

also really love that you brought in how Spock is awkward about sex, because I think there a lot in TOS canon to support that, imo.
