June Sim Challenge-Garden of Shadows
I have been doing things; I just haven’t been working on the Patriarchacy. I discovered Garden of Shadows and I’m doing the June Sim Challenge. I just did five Sims, but I may very well do more. Here they are, complete with download links:
Saffron Byrd

The name Saffron is from the English word which refers either to a spice, the crocus flower from which it is harvested, or the yellow-orange color of the spice. Saffron Byrd, called Saffy by some of her friends, always wanted a pet bird. Her mother never let her have pets, though, and even now her apartment won't allow them. So Saffy became a bit of a bird herself. She sings constantly, much to the annoyance of her roommate Pembe, and lives in bright colors. Her boyfriend calls her Songbird as a joke.

Pembe Erdogan

Pembe is a Turkish name meaning “pink”. Don't let her pleasant expression fool you. Pembe Erdogan is anything but pleasant. Of distant Turkish ancestry, Pembe uses her somewhat exotic looks to her advantage, and it's not often for good things. How she got stuck with a ditz like Saffron for a roommate, she'll never know.

Dulce Reyes

Dulce is a Spanish name meaning "sweet" or "candy". Dulce's name tells the truth- she is one of the sweetest girls you'll ever meet. She wants nothing more than to settle down with a husband and have two or more children, but right now she's working as a live-in nanny for the three Barkley girls. She'll get where she wants to be someday.

Skye Davis
River

Skye has always been a bit shy, what with her appearance being so dramatically different from everyone else's. No one knows exactly where she came from, only that she was found on the banks of a river nearby her current town. Skye grew up at the orphanage because no one wanted to adopt a "freak" like her. When she turned eighteen, they turned her out on the world, and she's managed to secure a journalism job at the local paper.

Bronwyn McAlister
Angelic

Bronwyn is a Welsh name, coming from bron meaning "breast" and wen meaning "white, fair, blessed". Bronwyn was always told she was pretty when she was young, but unlike some, it never went to her head. She's become the stereotypical angel type, volunteering and donating to charity whenever possible and helping others at all times. Yuck.

IMO: Saffron’s interesting-looking, Pembe’s cool, Dulce unintentionally looks like an old friend of mine (also I keep trying to pronounce her name as “dool-che” in my head instead of “dool-se”), Skye’s neat-looking but unintentionally looks like she’s making the “Not Bad” face in her first picture, and Bronwyn is the prettiest Sim I’ve ever made. She’s only a Teen in here, and she’s not as pretty as an Adult, but still. :D
