Been re-watching season 1 of Buffy. Episode 11 has a girl in school who everyone ignores and eventually she becomes invisble... after the usual sort of mayhem they catch her and then the FBI show up, lead her away and right at the end we get a bit where they lead her to a class full of invisible children being taught about assassination and stuff...
While I doubt that people actually do become invisible, it's exactly what I would expect the FBI to do with them if there were any.
