Writer's Block: Place of Residence

I've a hankering for a large mansion in suitable grounds.   A castle would also be fun.  Big enough to have things like ballrooms or equivalent, and a plenitude of bedrooms and stuff for inviting people around for moots, and the like.  Enough grounds that neighbours are not an issue.  A moat would be cool, too, with a drawbridge of course.

As for location, tempting as it is to contemplate exotic climes, I really do think I'd rather stay in Wales.

All of which reminds me, must buy lottery tickets.
