I realize that Metal Gear will end if Kojima were to die. This would be a tragedy on many levels. Therefore, I've formulated some FOOLPROOF plans to avert this potential crisis.
1. Nanomachines. Hideo puts his full faith in their properties to keep people alive and defy logic, so I do too!
2. We could turn him into a cyborg. This is well-known to keep people alive well past their expiration dates. Though the new problem would probably be that in a cyborg body, the man would be unstoppable.
3. We clone him. Of course, it wouldn't be just one clone. I think we'd need... three or so. One would go into politics first, but the other two would be trained as expert designers of video games. Of course, to create a healthy sense of competition, one of the clones would be given consistently poorer reviews than the other, to force him to work harder. This would eventually result in the two going head to head and one of them dropping off the face of the Earth, possibly dead. Then the third clone would give up his career in politics to create a game to rival the original Metal Gear saga, but would ultimately be shown up by an upstart game designer who was trained to be Hideo Kojima's replacement entirely by playing Sons of Liberty over and over again. Then the supposedly-gone HK clone would return, possibly by possessing technophile in order to outdo the clone who'd bested him once and for all. And even though the superior Hideo clone will have attempted to end his game-making career multiple times, he'll end up making the most incredible Metal Gear game ever in order to outsell his competitor/brother. In the end, it'll all turn out to be a plot orchestrated by the batshittest of the fans to revive the original Hideo Kojima using parts from his clones in order for him to make one last great Metal Gear game.

In other news, I'm going to compile a list of characters that I want to roleplay at some point in my Internet career.
Naruto- Kimimaro, Haku, Kabuto, pre-Shippuden Gaara, Sasori (but only in a completely inappropriate AU, such as working at Best Buy)
Bleach- Madarame Ikkaku
Petshop of Horrors- Count D (granted, this would have to be in a panfandom, since there's not a fandom for the series)
Hetalia- Lithuania
Metal Gear- Raiden, Volgin, Ocelot (preferably old Ocelot)
Nabari no Ou- Raiko
Persona- Kanji, Teddie
Final Fantasy- FFVII Cid, Auron
The World Ends With You- Joshua, Kitaniji (I'd want to play Minamimoto, too, but it'd be too annoying to look up math terms for his dialogue to be practical)
Okami- Waka, wolf!Amaterasu (with someone else as Issun)
I would say Endrance from .hack// and/or Miharu from Nabari no Ou, but I'd feel weird about it, since I'm using them as PBs for original characters at the moment. And I'd love to play the GW AI, but I'm not smart enough for it.
