Sage nods. He would love to see S'uth in one of these, but he isn't going to pressure S'uth into something he isn't comfortable with. But he imagines it just the same. The mental image makes him smile.

"They are disorganized, but they will take time," Sage. "Soon enough we will have centurions guarding our place. Then I can do more of my alchemy."

"I think it has to do with them having shared battle together in the Companions. Niruzel does respect such a warrior's code," Sage muses. "They do seem to be an odd couple, don't they?"

Sage smiles at the rooms downstairs. He silently thinks of signs he will quietly add to the alchemy room. Recipes for other useful potions. The Enchanting room. It surprised him that the Redoran doesn't at least know basic enchanting. Sage will show him later.

Hmmmm, the bedroom. The excess gear for the armory wasn't so bad, Sage picks up a few of them and moves them out of the way. But, this room needs a bit of work. A bigger bed, a lot of silk and velvet...... some paintings and sculptures.... some nice, some erotic, of course.

Sage smiles. He's sure S'uth would flip if there were mirrors on the ceiling. At this time there aren't any large enough spaces to make such a bedroom in his tower. He'll have to grow the tower some more.

Sage jumps when S'uth bellows his question. "What, how would Niruzel know anything to think that?" quite surprised. He doesn't know what else to say.

But he secretly appreciates what Niruzel is doing. He carefully lays out the toys on the bunkbed, looking each one over, appreciating the craftsmanship.

S'uth wondered what the younger Dunmer was smiling at. Perhaps he was entertaining the same thoughts as he was. He turned red at the ears; it was impossible for a Dunmer to be more red than he was at that moment.

"I see." He nodded. Experimentation wasn't his type of thing. With a hint of pride, "We've set up a bone grinder in the farm. We're becoming self-sustaining. Maybe this place can rival Ald'ruhn or Sadrith Mora in a few centuries."

"...That's what I don't understand. Why would they let him in, in the first place?" He raised his nose in the air as he thought about it for a moment. "Warrior's code, eh? I see, I see." He could see a certain parallel between themselves, and chuckled as he thought of the time they met. "I bet they argued a lot at first."

He smiled quietly at Sage, blissfully unaware of the latter's plans for the room. He wasn't much for clutter. A shelf neearby had absolutely nothing on it, except for a couple of Matze. He offered Sage some Matze in a goblet, "Should we spruce it up a little? Some potted scythcraw?"

S'uth coughed when he saw how surprised Sage was. He hadn't meant to startle him. Embarrassed, he covered his forehead with a hand and set his goblet down, "AHEM - I thought that was what he was implying. UM. And your father said that I seemed like a bad lay when we first met."

He coughed a little some more, wishing that a hole would open up and swallow him. Instead, he fiddled with the armour, putting them onto the bench.

Sage turns away for a few seconds seeing S'uth reddening so. Is he thinking...? Sage busies himself for a second. He keeps the image of S'uth in the skimpy silks in his mind a bit more, though.

"Yes. I think so," Sage smiles, "There's no reason why we won't be a major trade stop in even a matter of years. We are on a trade route, an old Hlaalu route. A bone grinder, we can revive bone mold, yes. And rebuild our traditions."

"They still argue. In a fashion. It seems Vilkas is more resigned to Niruzel's quirks. But Niruzel treasures him greatly. I could be wrong, though. If you ask me, I think that Vilkas is the one who is in quiet charge, though. Other than that, I cannot begin to understand how they work together."

"Thank you," Sage accepts the Matze, drinks some. "Scathecraw would look nice. Keep the space clean and empty, a few elegant pieces of art, but I would like a bigger bed? And some nice bedding?" Redoran rooms were always so big anyways, palacial in their splendor. Even Velothi huts had the luxury of space and homey warmth.

"My father? Well, as much as I love him, there are times he can keep his mouth shut. It's none of his business, anyways," Sage thinks of having some words with Saje Eldros the next time they met.

"I'm sorry," gently resting his hand on S'uth's shoulder. "Look, I think they want us to enjoy ourselves," smile. "I don't think they mean anything else. I can't think of anything else Niruzel would make a gift other than sweetrolls and toys. It's just how his mind functions." He kisses S'uth.

"Here," he slips out of his robes, takes one of the skimpy clothes and puts it on behind a screen. Then he comes out to show his partner.

He wants S'uth to be happy.

The warrior wondered what Sage was thinking of, but decided that it would be overly invasive to press on. If he wanted to talk about it, he would.

He sat down on the cushion and poured them more Matze. "We would. Only problem is the River Odai doesn't go further. If we can manage to reshape the land such that Odai flows into Lake Amaya, shipping will be easier and we don't have to man an outpost. Right now, we have to rely on land transport. But fresh water and the prime fertile lands - there's nothing more a Dunmer could ask for."

"You're right," He nodded, "Vilkas doesn't seem like a pushover." Sage always had more insight into other people. He looked into Sage's eyes, admiring for a moment just how wise the other mer was for his years.

He grunted in agreement. "Art, hm! I have some paintings of ash yams in the storeroom that I haven't taken out. It's your room as much as mine, so put whatever you want."

He grimaced, as his mind tried to wrap around the thought of being so weird. Then he smiled as Sage kissed him. "I trust your judgment. Well... We might as well use them."

S'uth tried to keep his attention at on the Matze, surprised at how eager his spouse-to-be was at using the items. Admittedly, once he got over the idea of the Altmer getting his kicks from rustling his jimmies, he could probably get used to the idea of...

Sage in skimpy clothes.

Half of him was compelled to move forward and act on impulse. The other half blustered out, "It doesn't cover anything!"

Sage smiles at S'uth. He almost tells S'uth what he is thinking, but he doesn't want S'uth to feel pressured.

Sage sits on the cushions with S'uth, drinking. "Yes. I had wondered about that when I studied maps of Morrowind as a little one. I wondered if Balmora recieved much trade. But, then, my father explained to me that the bulk of the trade took place at Vivec and Ebonheart, and that's the true reason so many Hlaalu took residence there, instead of their traditional seat in Balmora. I like your idea. Open the lake to trade on the river and seas. But we do control a major land route, what Pelegiad controlled in its day. We'll talk this over with my parents when they get here, what they think can be done."

"If we really had to, I'm sure Vilkas would be happy to leash Niruzel, and Niruzel would like that, hmmm," Sage laughs. "Keep him busy."

"All right, then," Sage nods. "Some nice pictures of ash yams. I might pick up some elsewhere," thougtful. He wants to add elegance and the right touch of luxury to accent the basic spartan theme the old warrior favored. Maybe a couple of nude statues of Dunmer with spears, shields, boots, and indoril helmets and pauldrons, lacking only the greaves and cuirass. He's seen a couple of ink drawings his father had done of partially nude Ordinators, probably as a gift for Niruzel. Perhaps Sage will commission a couple of statues based on those.

"Well, I'm not sure about this rubbery wristguard thing. It's popular with some, but, it seems like it would be painful... if I think it is what I think it is... I'll have to ask Niruzel. He and Vilkas, and my parents do so many things I don't even want to ask. But the other stuff, it's all for fun," Sage picks up an nice glass dildo. "And Niruzel doesn't need to know what we do, anyways. We'll just tell him it's all very nice, they make great decorations for the kitchen and garden."

Sage poses with the skimpy outfit.

"Mm... it's not supposed to cover anything," he explains. "It's supposed to show off the body. That's why dancers wear outfits like this." He dances a few steps, which might be surprising to anyone who doesn't know Sage.

"Good to have a break," He nodded, "Hopefully, this union will calm the tensions between our Houses. The problem, of course, is finding enough labour at a time like this."

"Leash?! Like a pet?!" S'uth tilted his head in amazement at the thought, completely missing other aspects of it. He pictured Niruzel being led around by the Nord, much like a pet guar. The thought amused him a lot, even though he tried to keep a straight face. Instead, he lamented the state of affairs: "Ahh, the Altmer has fallen to being a Nord's plaything. What a shame for Merkind."

Again, completely unaware of what Sage was thinking, he muttered to himself, "Shalks... No, guars are too banal, and the Tribunal won't be appropriate these days..." To Sage, "I trust your taste. It's settled, then. I have no eye for decorations."

"Hmm. It says that we should add some frost or fire salts for the additional 'zing', whatever that may mean. Some magical term?" He shrugged and set it aside, grimacing sympathetically. He raised his eyebrows at the dildo, and his ass involuntarily clenched up.

"Hmm..." S'uth sat with both hands on his knees, legs crossed. He was, admittedly, starting to see the point as Sage moved gracefully, much befitting of a stealthy wizard of sorts. The streamlined movement and the way the clothes swayed seemed to make him fall in love all over again. Unsure of what to do (for all the land drills that they'd done, he had never been confronted with situations such as this). There was a certain excitement, a tingling, in the air that he had never felt before.

"I hope so. Ah, maybe advertise in that miserable Gray Quarter in Windhelm? Not that I would go back there. But hire someone to do it. There's plenty who need work there and they need to return home."

Sage laughs. Niruzel as a pet. "Well, yes. As a sort. Sexual pet. Yes, a toy. But in private. I hope."

"All right," Sage smiles. He had fine decorations in mind. Nude Ordinators, yes. And a mural of a Redoran battle against Daedra. He nods. That is final.

"Ouch!" the thought of adding essence salts... Sage knows that his parents and Niruzel like playing with magic. He's not sure if he's ready for that. "No, we will pass that one up. But isn't that dildo pretty?"

Sage does more of a dance. He's aware of S'uth watching him... but he starts to wonder. And worry. Was S'uth so inhibited?

"I'm yours, you know," smile. He sits on S'uth'sm lap.

((Thought you would like that! Niruzel gets some drawings of Nude Ordinators wearing only helm, pauldrons, gauntlets, and boots, carrying sword and shield, from Saje.))

S'uth frowned. He didn't have fond memories of Grey Quarter. "True. We should send an agent to recruit them. Perhaps a Dunmer who has been to Windhelm, though Altmers seem to have an easier time getting things done."

He couldn't speak for Bosmers; he hadn't seen any in Windhelm.

His ear twitched as he heard the word 'sexual', "What?! Such... frivolity!" He remembered that he was speaking of Sage's family in many respects, and decided to tone down his moralizing, "Ahem! How do they get the time to do other things? It's no wonder the two of them are so emanciated!"

Though he wasn't that much bulkier.

"Hm. It's very... green," S'uth managed to say. "Er. Very... Well-crafted."

He managed to breathe in when Sage sat on his lap, and then out. He sighed, running his fingers across the younger Dunmer's face. His heart felt like it was about to burst, "How? I-- I'm falling in love again."

S'uth leaned forward and kissed him deeply, suddenly unafraid and unashamed. "Which one should I put on?"

((ahhfdsgh that made me laugh a lot. Niruzel has a guard fetish! And ordinators are the hottest of them all, besides redoran guards. SAJE KNOWS NIRU TOO WELL OMG.))

"That sounds like a plan. I'm sure many of them will be happy to return," Saje nods.

Rather than taking insult, Sage laughs, bending over. "I don't know! But I assume the discipline they learn from the acts ensure they are more productive when they do pay attention to other activities? I should ask them! Emaciated! Hah! Ever see how many sweetrolls Niruzel eats? My father, too. They should be fat!" He has to catch his breath and wipe his eyes.

"The brilliance of its glass is lovely. Someone made this very well," talking about the glass dildo. "It's hardened, like armor or a weapon and should take use quite well."

Sage smiles in simple happiness. He shares S'uth's kiss with enthusiasm.

"Which ever one you like." He touches S'uth's face with gentle fingertips.

((LOL!!!! Saje will draw Redoran in partial armor, too, for Niru.... And Sage will have a statuer or two of that made!!!"

"I'll keep an eye out for the suitable person," S'uth was quite happy at the prospect of repopulating Vvardenfell. Too much wasted manpower on the Nords.

"Really?!" He was amazed at Sage's response, not quite believing his ears. "They can't possibly eat that many sweetrolls! Just look at them, all skin and bones."

He nodded. Sage had an eye for the finer things in life, that was for sure, "Whoever made this must be good at smithing delicate things. That finish is perfect."

He didn't really make delicate things, himself, but he knew to appreciate those when he saw one. "Shame that it can't be put on display."

S'uth went for the chain, knowing that cloth would simply make him feel out of sorts.

"Be right back," He promised, kissing Sage on the forehead, striding behind the screen in assured confidence. Something about the other Dunmer seemed to have that effect on him.

((...NIRUZEL WILL MAKE CAT EARS FOR EVERYONE! "Let's pretend to be khajiits!" Then the next thing... BEAR HATS! "Let's pretend to be Nords!" He's not good at gifting things.))

Sage nodded. "Our people need to come home."

"They must burn it off with all that activity of theirs," Sage, not admitting that he has been a little envious of all that acitivity in the past.

"It is. I'll have to find out who crafted this. Another smith with whom I can share notes." Sage holds the dildo up to the light to let it catch that light. "Why not put this on display? Either people will appreciate it, or they would be too polite to express disapproval," Sage grinning in mischief.

Sage smiles and waits for S'uth. He's delighted that S'uth is willing to have fun like this.

"How do they get the time? Don't they need to sleep? Don't they have work to do?" S'uth wondered, "How do they have so much energy? I outgrew that phase centuries ago."

He coughed, "BUT! UM! It's not any business of mine what witchcraft they practise."

"You little scamp," He grinned, "That would not be appropriate. But since these are our private quarters, they have no business to be in here, unless they were invited. Put it where you want."

He made a note to never invite the meddling Altmer in. Or the rest of the Redorans. Sage's fathers probably won't bat an eyelash, though.

S'uth's movements were more martial in their aesthetic, like the gestures in the shadow and screen plays that he'd done before. He came from behind the screen that way, managing to find some gravity in the situation by concentrating on the movement rather than his own nudity.

"I don't know." Sage. Although, privately, he knew he could be the same if given the chance. "You did? I mean... well, I don't know how they do it."

Sage grins. He thinks of putting it in the living room where guests are recieved...

Sage watches S'uth's dance, eyes glowing. It makes him very happy that S'uth does this for him. Of course he is very aroused, that is evident when he stands, still wearing the skimpy silk of his costume.

"Well," he breathed out through his nose, trying to figure out how to put it. There were always plenty of things left unsaid for mer his age, "I'm getting old, and don't have magic to sustain me the way they do. I've had my days, yes. But that was a long time ago. Then I joined House Redoran. It gave me purpose, friendship, and acceptance. It changed my life."

He raised an eyebrow at Sage's mischievious little grin.

His dance, ostensibly to a different rhythm than that of his partner's, brought him closer to him. "Let's dance together."

Sage laughs. "Well, how they hop and screw and hump for 24 hours a day like frenetic rabbits, I don't know- that's the part I don't understand. But how to have a long robust life? That's easy. You don't need to have the magic; I have it. The Telvanni have long lived retainers who are still in the prime of thier lives. I can give that to you. And I can make it a slow gradual process so it's nothing alienating. I understand what you mean. It seems House Redoran was very good for you. In spite of what we say in Telvanni, we do respect the Redoran."

Sage thinks of the many Dunmer who have had long satisfying lives without being mages.

"Just let me work on your back, and I'll teach you meditation techniques that will heighten your sex drive and how you can channel it to rejuvenate your body. That's how parents do it, without having to resort to necromancy like the other mage-lords have. It's not really magic the way mages have; it's an age old secret, belly magics and all. I'm suprised the Redoran never had this technique."

Sage has a calm confidence. He believes in a happy life.

Sage nods, still mischievous, thinking of a great display for the dildo.

"Yes," Sage joins S'uth in his dance, and with their differing harmonies and body language, they strike an erotic blend. Sage looks S'uth in the eye as he moves close to him, almost touching, always teasing with silk or brushes of the body.

"I know. Mages and warriors have an interesting relationship," he sighed, "The secret to a long robust life is not to die. We have physicians in House Redoran. We may not be youthful, but warriors do die young... And no, it isn't taught to most. We concentrate on other aspects to maintain in prime condition for battle. But not as a principle. Perhaps our Councillors do."

S'uth fell silent.

"WELL, if I have to die, I might as well die virile." He smiled. Now he had a reason to be. "Besides, keeping our spouse happy is a serious matter done by serious Redorans."

He now raised both eyebrows and waggled them, still keeping a straight face.

The way their bodies brushed by each other seemed to charge the air around them with an electric current. S'uth's eyes were held by Sage's, occasionally looking at the rest of him with a slight smile of intrigue.

His hands mimicked the grasping of Sage's waist like a lover's embrace, the not-touch only increasing the intimacy and the desire.
