2. Does Santa wrap presents or just set them under the tree? Wraps presents
3. Colored lights on tree/house or white? Colored. I need colors in my life, at that time of the year more then ever
4. Do you hang mistletoe? No. I've never even seen mistletoe.
5. When do you put your decorations up? Usually two weeks before xmas.
6. What is your favorite holiday dish (excluding dessert)? The stuffing my mom use to make to go with the turkey...am sure gonna miss it this year.
7. Favorite Holiday memory as a child: One year, my parents had rented a farm house with 6 others families that my parents were friends with, I was just 12, never seen so many kids at once, we went cross country skying at 2 am, it was a full moon, there were aurora borealis, we even went to the small church there for the midnight service. Magical night, I will never forget it.
8. When and how did you learn the truth about Santa? I was 7, noticed it was my favorite uncle doing santa, I had to promise not to tell the other kids.
9. Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve? Yes, usually all of them, but for the last few years, we decided to keep one for the xmas morning, one that we can actually enjoy taking our time to open when there is just the four of us around.
10. How do you decorate your Christmas Tree? Lights of courses, tinsels, and ld things, everything is related to a memory, it's not a trendy tree, it's a tree of all the memories am gathering over the years and every year I buy a new ornament, a single one, that I add to it,
11. Snow! Love it or Dread it? Always loved it but also always glad to see it gone by march.
12. Can you ice skate? yes, I use to be very good at it too, lately I can't find a pair of skate that is wide enough for me to be comfortable in them :(
13. Do you remember your favorite gift? I remember most of my xmas but I was a spoiled brat, also my bday is dec 26th, I loved most of them, but I still remember a certain tiny jewel box mom gave me when I was a child, she made me wrap it saying it was for my cousin and I ogled it all the while I was wrapping it, I soooooo wanted it...and I did get it, kept it for years :)
14. What's the most important thing about the Holidays for you? The ppl and it's always been like that, am a single child, solitude was my lot the rest of the year, this was finally time where I was surrounded, with ppl to talk to, to play with...ppl are still the most important thing to me.
15. What is your favorite Holiday Dessert? A cake mum use to do every xmas, carrot cake with cheese icing, I must have the recipe somewhere but I can't do it...not this year anyway.
16. What is your favorite holiday tradition? We no longer have any, anymore since dad left. I have no idea what am gonna do this year, but it use to be to all get together.
17. What tops your tree? A beautiful white angel that has its own set of light, I had it for years and I take such good care of it that it still looks brand new.
18. Which do you prefer giving or receiving? giving...I make a point of giving silly gifts muahaha!
19. What is your favorite Christmas Song? I have many too, I like most of Boney M stuff, some in French like "La Charlotte" or "le Noël des bucherons" that you wouldn't knowbut one that has always brought me to tears is a song from Abba called The Way Old Friends do, listen to it sometimes...incredible song.
20. Candy Canes! Yuck or Yum? Yuuuuuuck, I only use them to decorate the xmas tree!
