Nonsequitur without any real important content

So for awhile now, I've been looking into getting a new backpack. Mine's been in use since middle school, and while I can still use it (score for awesomely made stuff), it's also getting very beaten up and the front zipper on it is broken. I don't feel too comfortable having such an obvious pocket open for anyone behind me to shove anything they ( Read more... )

Oooh, I thought you were talking about a Jan Sport when you brought this up! They're really great backpacks. What color are you going to get?

I'M NOT SURE! I have the navy, and while I like the color and am tempted to get it again, I kind of want a pattern. Only. The patterns kind of suck for me.

I've stuffed about as many books in this bag before in high school before I gave in and used my locker. XDDD Amazing, right?

I'm tempted to get one because sometimes I do have to take an additional tote with me, but a bigger bag would only tempt me to stuff more crap in it and turn me into the Hunchback of Honolulu.

I have a backpack like this so I don't go carrying around the additional tote. It used to be a habit, but it bugged the shoulder it hung from, so I finally just gave up on it. XD

Haha, I was gonna suggest getting an L.L. Bean backpack. They're great investments. I still have mine from High School and it is still in good condition when I used it to drag all my books around campus in college.

I wouldn't doubt it! And I'm normally all about paying more for something really well done, but backpacks rank fairly low on the importance scale for me, which is why I was so reluctant to pay out more than $35 for one.

That being said, do they have a general line, or did you mean to recommend the company's backpacks in general?
