Years ago I read an Earth 2 fanfic that I have not been able to find again since *sad* but, as with most things, I'm hoping my dear flist-which-knows-all might remember it. *crosses fingers

Also, since I think I've read it, there must have been a ficathon that I was involved in. (this DOES NOT narrow it down)

Maybe it was one of the het ficathons. or, idk, a rarepair, or Fishlikebikes or one of the female friendships or fuckyeahladies types?

Part of me always thinks that it's someone I know who wrote it, while the other part of me remembers it as being someone I don't. I'm pretty sure it wasn't labelled as being a 'shippy fic (or, at least, not a Devon/Danziger fic) but more a genfic. I do remember it being on livejournal.

Argh! Still so frustrating, even after all this time!

Do you remember a line, by any chance? I've found fic before by googling a line I happened to remember, or enough of it that google figured out the rest for me.
