What is with this week?
I can't wait for spring. I am so ready for winter to be over with. I've been in a depressive state for most of the past week. I've had dreams about deceased friends/relatives (ones who are deceased, not about living ones being deceased) twice this week and woken up in the middle of the night in tears. I've also had a kink in my back that won't go away; it isn't helping my mood. Just being outside in warm sunshine would help me; I know that. I'm making the best of it and trying to sit by windows and keep daylight-spectrum lamps on me.
There is a whole list of outdoor home-repair and improvement tasks that need doing, once it is warm enough to get outside. And of course there is ALWAYS wire-work to do for the Boss on decent weather days. I just wish the days would turn decent soon! It is cold, windy and rainy today.
The Boss calls and keeps me updated from Florida; normally I don't care, I find Florida too hot, but right now palm trees and sun sound wonderful.
I'm still obsessed with the Virtual Dragon thing. It tickles me to watch something grow and thrive despite the weather outside. My REAL plants are in dormancy for the winter. And the cats are quite grown and elderly; they are in good shape, but sleep all day. I'm not so rude as to wake them all the time just because I want attention. They come spend time with me in the evenings when they are awake.
Another vice: New York Cheesecake Hershey Kisses. Mark discovered them; Phil brought me more for Valentine's Day. I LOVE them. I wish they were a regular item, not a "limited-edition". They are already gone from the stores. Most of the "fancy" kisses I could take or leave; I didn't like the cherry-cordial kisses at all. These were great, though.
