... And another long gap. Something like three months there. ... I've been very busy, is all.
Also, no one comments anymore now that the requests post is separate. Seriously, guys, is a little thanks too much to ask?

Song: A Night Come's!
Game/Anime/etc.: Yoru ga Kuru
Type: OP
Artist: Toyoda Serika
Comments: That stray apostrophe in the title bothers me so much. I mean, usually I just find Engrish funny, but when it's the kind of mistake that native speakers of English make a little too frequently, then it gets on my nerves. I have the same problem with Trust You're Truth (it's your, dammit, your!). Anyway, Grammar Nazi-ism aside, this is a fast-paced, catchy, and occasionally Engrishy pop-rockish song. It's not amazingly wonderful, but it's pretty enjoyable.

Game/Anime/etc.: N/A
Type: Electronic
Artist: Hirasawa Susumu
Comments: I love Hirasawa Susumu, but it's always frustrating to post his music here, because I can't describe it very well. Anyway, this is a mid-tempo, somewhat repetitive song with a steady beat, and... see, I'm not doing it justice at all. Just give it a try, okay?

Type: Pop/Rock
Artist: Minagawa Junko
Comments: Mid-tempo pop-rock. It doesn't really stand out to me, though it's not really bad, or anything.

Download karaoke (MF)! Song: Itoshii Hito e
Game/Anime/etc.: Seirei no Moribito
Type: ED
Artist: Tainaka Sachi
Comments: Slow pop ballad, backed just by a piano at first, then adding more instruments in the chorus. Mostly a nice, calming sort of song, though the chorus is a bit more intense than the verses.

Game/Anime/etc.: Ai to Yuuki no Pig Girl Tonde Buurin
Type: Kuroha Keiko song
Artist: Matsumoto Rika
Comments: This song has a distinctly Latinesque sound to it. Or, er, Spain-esque? With castanets and all. I don't know, I'm kind of tired, I can't think. But it's a fun song, and Matsumoto Rika sings it well. I like her better when she's actually supposed to sound like a girl.

Download (MF)! Song: Rinbu Revolution
Game/Anime/etc.: N/A
Type: Pop/Dance(?)/Cover
Artist: Shimokawa Mikuni
Comments: I love Shimokawa Mikuni and I love Rinbu Revolution, but unfortunately these two great tastes do not taste great together, in my opinion. The singer's voice is nice enough, but something about the arrangement just rubs me the wrong way. I want to say it leans a little more towards electronic/dance-pop than the original, but I'm not sure if that's it. It's not the worst cover on the album (it's certainly better than her danced-up version of Yakusoku wa Iranai, which really doesn't work) but it's pretty blah.

Download (MF)! Song: room
Game/Anime/etc.: Kimi ga Aruji de Shitsuji ga Ore de
Type: ED
Artist: KOTOKO
Comments: This is a slow, relaxed sort of trance/pop song. It's pleasant and not as boring as a lot of her other recent stuff has been, though it doesn't really stand out.

Download (MF)! Song: Shin Ai Yue ni
Game/Anime/etc.: Sakura Taisen
Type: Sakura & Maria song (from Shin Ai Yue ni Kayou Show)
Artist: Yokoyama Chisa & Takano Urara
Comments: This song is in a sort of classic musical-theatre/pseudo-Takarazuka style. It begins with a sweeping orchestral intro that's more or less identical to that of the original, but once the singing starts in, both the melody and the words are different until they reach the chorus. The singers harmonize very well, and I am sort of in love with Takano Urara's voice. Just a little. Overall, I think it strikes a nice balance between being fresh and new and still being recognizable as Ai Yue ni. And it's also very, very pretty.

Song: Give and Take
Game/Anime/etc.: Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo 2040
Type: Priss song
Artist: Sudou Akira
Comments: This song comes from the "No Obligation - As Sekiria" album, which as far as I can tell is an image album-type thing, since none of the songs on it showed up in the anime. Anyway, this is a pretty straight-up rock song. Sudou Akira's singing suits this type of music well, I think, although she can take some getting used to. I really like her now, though.

Download (MF)! Song: Sabaku
Game/Anime/etc.: N/A
Type: Trance
Artist: coo:ya
Comments: I don't really know anything about coo:ya; I just stumbled across this song somewhere. I love it, though. It's got a very ethereal sound to it, but at the same time it's a bit rock-ish. It's a little like Rurutia and a little like Shimamiya Eiko's stuff for Higurashi no Naku Koro ni -- those are the best comparisons I can come up with, anyway.
