Oh, baby!
Got to deliver a baby almost entirely by myself today! I got to participate in 4 vaginal deliveries and partially deliver 2 last Saturday, with the guidance of either my resident or attending, but today was pretty much all me. Granted, it was the fastest and smoothest birth I have ever seen, which is probably why the staff felt comfortable with me doing it, but I'll take what I can get. It's a pretty amazing experience. My goal for this month was to catch at least 1 baby and now I've already caught 3. Mission accomplished!
