This weekend was fabulous. Friday night John and I snuck off to clearwater and spent the night in rabid raccoon country. Really, though. They mauled us to pieces. They ran about, leaping from the trees, pouncing on our backs and tearing at our necks. I can only thank God that we are still alive. In fact, it was God's will that no one else witnessed the attack, or that no scars or scratches remain, or that the story changes every time we tell it because we really don't have a clear memory of how it went in the first place...

Brevity is the soul of wit.

Then Saturday night we watched movies. Then he left. Shame, too. Dirty shame. Almost as dirty as feet get after walking in the garage for thirty seconds.

So, today, after waking up from about three successive horse oriented dreams, my mom and i travelled to ocala and we bought...

a beautiful collegiate saddle! A lovely chocolate colored saddle with a changeable gullet system. And a nice boot bag with lots of padding that matches my horse bag.

So if i'm not a happy camper, i don't know who is? It is a step closer to being a real equestrian...not just a lesson-taker. Anyways I am tickled pink? Whatever the hell that means.
