someone to get trashed/inebriated/high with and then talk rubbish until the wee small hours.

I was going to say beer/philosophy buddy. This mingled for me with the rambling walks/rambling talks. And we'd come back, er, trashed at 4am: "Where Have You Been?"

i like sober walks and talks as well that wander as they may. i like walking back from a club the 10km or so to home.

some states of mind lend themselves to walking, others demand couches and seductively comfortable environments.

I too like the sober walking and talking. Very much. And I miss it. As for the other, I've never had it, so can only miss it from wanting it.
