1. Name something that you wish you could remember but never seems to stick in your head (passwords, your mother's birthday, spelling of a particular word etc.)
That life is worth living. That people are noble beings trapped by their hurts and insecurities and not simply animals with clothes. That good guys don't, necessarily, finish last.
I try, but time and again they slip away from me.
2. If you could be an expert in a field you currently know very little about, what would it be?
Organic chemistry. 'Cos it is usually cheaper to make yourself than buy.
3. if you could choose remain perfectly awake, alert and healthy without ever sleeping again, would you? why/why not?
Yes. In a moment and without hesitation. Sleep is nice, pleasant, can be a great escape from woe, but if I could pick up another 5-7 hours a day by trading it in I would take it. That is something like a 20-30% increase in available time and that is one commodity I have far too little of.
4. you're in a (non-specific) situation where you're going to have to kill a whole bunch of people. what's your preferred method/weapon and why?
Ah, but it is the specifics that I must dwell, for killing people is not a casual thing. So;
For a short period of mayhem in an enclosed space or area with no thought to consequence - solid boots and armoured gauntlets. No ammunition concerns, up close and personal as killing should be.
Under similar constraints, but against armed opponents, then add a pair of shortswords or long, heavy knives as well.
Where the people are a targetted list and not simply 'as many as I can' - a silenced rifle, if portability is no problem then a Barrett light 50 *grin*, of course. Capacity to strike at a distance and then move to avoid detection to allow completion of list.
The first are for aesthetics, pleasure and a sense of propriety. More process focussed. The latter is where the duty is a task, a necessity, an exercise. More outcome focussed.
5. favourite fruit juice flavour?
Apple and berry or Guava, depends on the day.
