um, i am still around. i keep meaning to write more in here, but i keep getting distracted by my
other blog.
apparently the last time i wrote in this journal i was in new york city. since then i have:
- read about a third of gravity's rainbow
- had intense times with work
- rickrolled myself at work, a lot
- spent a week living with six other people on a boat in the british virgin islands
- spent at least one night every week sans tv/internet
- stopped eating mammals
- tried to plan recipes around a farm share
- learned to play tennis
- roadtripped down the east coast and through west virginia (home of my parents' microfarm), virginia, tennessee, and kentucky (where i fulfilled a decade-old goal of eating ice cream in a kentucky motel room)
- implemented a tickler file
- landed projects with payments of increasing orders of magnitude, but remained more or less broke (though in decreasing debt)
- gone camping on the cape in the pun-full town of sandwich
i am bad at keeping in touch with people, even people i live near and hang out with. if you live near me, we should hang out; if you don't, we should still catch up.
