Craziness.
This always seems to be the case. I'll be single for a while, randomly end up talking to a couple of people, with nothing going anywhere, and all of a sudden everything starts moving at the same time.
This weekend, there's:
A couple I had been talking to, like, two months ago, but had given up on because of their general flakiness. But they want to meet tonight, have been fantasizing about if for a long time, so that could be fun...
A girl I met a couple of weeks ago, had been talking to off and on, but had been busy with various holiday things, out of town and whatnot, wants to go on a Real Date tonight...
A girl I had dated briefly months ago, but then we both got busy and she found somebody else, IMed me and said she was going to a town an hour away for the long weekend, and begged me to come stay in her hotel with her, to which I can only say, wtf?
And then another girl I dated for a while several months ago, but nothing much had ever happened, but she's recently started communicating and strongly suggesting how she'd like to jump me. Of course, she wants to get together tonight.
So odd.
Incidentally, I find myself using the term "girl" to describe women, which isn't meant to belittle but...I don't know. I don't even know why I feel the need to defend it, but it makes sense to me.
