(no subject)
i just got back from the gym. I did 20 minutes on the elliptical and 20 min on the treadmill. I am wiped out. But..as I was working bopping around on the equipment with my iPod, I realized I have NO Prince on my iPod. The horror! The horror! Sooo....I decided to upload the 12inch singles Gary burned for me years ago. So, now I am listening to parts 1-3 of I Wish You Heaven. This makes me smile inside.
Yesterday was a trying day. I went to a luncheon for a student worker that I supervised over the summer. Then I went to a going away dealy for a coworker that was hired when I was. While we were intially somewhat close, she has drifted. She is relocating to northern cali. When I tried to get her to talk about her plans (and I acted excited), she kept asking, "Arent you jealous?" And I just kept saying , NO!
Mountainview is not my ideal...now, Monterey would inspire jealousy....
I am going to see Melissa Etheridge perform on Aug 8. Should beinteresting.
